Hi there Bluenose. It's just the right time of year to be buying bedding plants which will look great in pots throughout te summer. Petunias, Geraniums, Begonias etc. Just pop along to any good garden centre or nursery and take your pick. :stew1:

Hi Bluenose, welcome to the Stew.

Garden centers carry plants that will do well in their area, so the main thing you will have to consider is how much/how little sun a plant requires, what colors you want and which plants you like.
The three Eileen mentioned are all really good for starters, Marigolds are good too as are Zinnias.

Decide where you will be putting the pots...by that I mean will they be in full sun, morning sun/afternoon shade or maybe more shade than sun. The plants will have information tags that will tell you their light requirements to help you choose.
