Well, not exactly white but off-white anyway. White Marigold 1 ( photo / image / picture from S-H's Garden ) White marigold 2 ( photo / image / picture from S-H's Garden ) I have the regular Yellow and Orange colored Marigolds too (see picture below). But now I've also bought the white as well! Marigolds 1 ( photo / image / picture from S-H's Garden )
However the surprising thing is that I actually had no idea (until a few weeks ago), that white Marigolds also existed! :-D
Love the white ones! I had some growing... they were mislabeled and I thought they were Carnations! Glad I collected some of the seeds... they are very hardy (and beautiful).
s-h, wonderful pics!!! i grew the white marigold called 'French Vanilla' for market a coulple years ago when it first came out. customers were awed by it! really beautiful plant.
Hey, your marigolds are so cheery! I have not seen the white variety around here... I love seeing your flowers this time of year when I look out on my frosty, dormant landscape.
Yummy! Now that's a marigold I will be looking for come spring. I like marigolds in between the roses and lavender.
Its funny, I was reading this post this morning, and then I go flipping through my newest seed catalogue (Vermont Bean Seed Co), and they have white marigolds! Creamy Vanilla, theyre called ^_^ Id never heard of white ones before either, theyre very pretty.
I love all the different types of marigolds...with our weather they are one plant you can always depend on in the summer and the critters don't like to eat them. The white is going to be a favorite ...I did buy seeds last year but never did have them come up. Great pictures.
Here they are, all 3 colors together! Marigolds, all 3 colors ( photo / image / picture from S-H's Garden )
