Some more pictures of wonderful plants grown to perfection. This time in Whitworth which is near Manchester. UK. http://www.ideasforgardens.net/palustris/Whitworth/
Delicious photos! Ok, that settles it, I'm giving up gardening for good! No, I'm not, but I hardly got past the Androsace. That's sooo unfair, showing those beauties. If I should be stupid enough to compare I'd loose my joy of gardening altogether.
By the way, what happened to the Caltha palustris right at the bottom? And what's the zone limit of the Primula allonii, do you know?
Forgot to do the link when I did the pages. Put it right now for you. The P. allionii are from the Alps, but they grow under overhanging limestone cliffs in one small area. They will take any amount of frost, but absolutely hate getting any water on their sticky leaves. They are grown indoors in Britain in as draughty a greenhouse as possible and never watered from above.
