Back in January I ordered a passel of plants in exchange for giving Randy the HAM radio gear thingy that I won at the HAM club Christmas dinner in Dec. http://www.gardenstew.com/about20902.html Last weekend I made a list of the plants, their sun requirements and expected mature size then planned out where they would each be planted so I would not be wandering around lost and lonely trying to figure out what I was going to do with them all. That is usually how I plan my garden...wandering lost and lonely, not organized...so this time I wanted to do a better job of it. Of course, that's not saying that I won't get out there this weekend and change my mind at least a couple of times on the planting location of at least two of them, but I tried to be a good gardening designer. We got home Thursday evening from a shopping trip and found a rather large and pretty heavy box on the front porch, but yesterday was really busy so last evening was the first chance I got to open and inspect. They look great, everything except the rose has great growth on it and the Salvia 'Maraschino' even has tiny red flower buds on it. The Mahonia repens will be transplanted to larger pots since their home isn't ready yet and the Rose will be potted up too because it's going out back to a new home that is also not yet ready. Big plant order ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden )
WOW how I wish somebody would send me lots of lovely plants like yours. I'm already looking forward to the pictures of them all in situ Toni. :-D
I've never ordered live plants through the mail. I found myself wanting a certain plant but unable to find it locally. I'll be waiting and watching to see how your "deliveries" do.
I don't think there will be any problem with these, they are so healthy looking. Now it's just up to me to treat them right before and after I plant them. By the wa Cheryl, I responded to your comment about the photo in my Garden Photos but put in the wrong link so ignore that one. The link in the post with the photo up there is where I originally listed all the plants.
