All I can say is Whooo Raaaayyyy Mimi's Home. After 15 days in the Hospital, 80 miles round trip every day, 3 surgeries, X-rays, blood tests, massive quantities of medications, and for goodness sake, the poor cat has nearly gone nuts missing her, she is back with us. While my days are still rather busy with her shuffling about on a broken leg, with a walker, and one arm in a cast, she is a most welcomed sight here. There is not much she can do for her self, and I'm some what of a klutz, when it comes to my nursing skills, but we will persevere. My kitchen skills are suspect as well, although I haven't poisoned anyone yet. Things are looking up hereabouts. Tom
What wonderful news Tom. And as great as you feel having her back home, her relief at being home is even more. Hug her gently for me and tell her not to do that again
That's great news. There's nothing like having your mate back home, is there. It sounds like she had a dramatic hospital stay, and all that driving back and forth. Well, hopefully she will stay out of harm's way for a while now. Good luck with the custodial duties.
OH my poor Mimi sounds like she has been in the wars, I am so glad she is home and on the mend again. You will do a grand job of looking after her I am sure, and I bet that little cat did back flips when she saw Mimi home
I'm so pleased for you both (and the cat of course. ) Now you can both relax and enjoy each others company again Tom. Hospitals are grand places for fixing you up but not the best for holding even simple conversations. Mimi must be so relieved to be back home. No more long trips for you either which is another good thing. Wish her all the very best from us for a speedy recovery. :-D
That is very good news. She will be much happier at home with you and kitty-cat. It is not easy to rest much in hospital! I'm sure you're her favorite caregiver too. Tell Mimi -- glad you are home and wishing you a speedy recovery.
You and Mimi can sit out and watch the lake and relax. The cat can relax now, too. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. dooley
