Can someone tell me why my Cuban Gold Duranta are thinning on the bottom and just seeing a few leaves and a lot of naked twigs?

    Thanks,
    Scotty

Without a photo and more information it is hard to guess. Was it recently planted (this year?). Although drought tolerant plants need ample water to get their roots established. Maybe with a photo someone could be of more help.

Plants are old. Live in S. Florida and right now it rains everyday.

    Thanks, Scott
