Can anyone tell me why the tomato plant leaves are turning a light brown.
Its currently 96 outside and feels like 105.
I water them every morning as the soil feels dry.
I have many tomatoes on this plant that are trying to ripen.
The sun is just now starting to flood my balcony and the plants (tomato)and will do so till sunset hours from now.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Keep cool

Ed, They actually may need to be watered twice a day. I do mine that are potted at least twice a day, but that also means you need to fertilize them more often, too.

Is it the lower leaves ? They will shed some leaves as the plant gets older. These are usually not needed anyway. That way it can support the tomatoes. Too many leaves take food away from the fruit.

Ed, Post us a picture, too. That would help better than us guessing to help you.
