    Hi all,

With a high speed Internet connection it is possible to download large images (like those posted in the Member's Gallery forum) very fast. But sometimes we may forget about those on slower Internet connections to which this is a MUCH slower process.

So I am recommending that you resize your images to no greater than 500 pixels in width before posting.

Our site already resizes images larger than this but it not 'true' resizing, more like squashing the image. It does not speed up the image downloads for the visitors with lower Internet speeds.

Be kind to our visitors in the slow lane and resize your photos :D Thanks for reading :smt023

Hmmm it's a bigger problem than I thought :( I think I will have to place a reminder on the page where we write posts.

I'm glad to hear there's a lot of you all in the slow lane too. Our phone company is working on a faster connection but it will probably take forever to get to my "little piece of nowhere".
