The average temp here for the end of April is the mid 60's for a high and the mid 40's for a low. Lasr week we were in the low 80's every day. This morning we had showers come through early. I woke up at 5 am and could only get the local stations on the satelitte tv, So I tried resetting the receiver. Then I couldn't get anything. I happened to turn the outside lights on and saw that it was snowing. I went out and cleaned the heavy wet snow off the dish and everything worked fine! We got about 1/4 inch of snow! Have never had snow this late in April before! They have a freeze warning out for tonight!

Our weather patterns are normally weird all year round so this year is really no different than any other.

We are back into the thunderstorms every few days pattern that has been missing because of the drought the past few springs and despite the tornado warnings, it is comforting to have that pattern back.

Was 70 here in Casper yesterday, will be in the high 60's today, and by Thursday we'll be having 40 degree temps with SNOW! Wind's have been horrendous all winter, usually precede a front coming in which seems to have been every other day since last November: they are HOWLERS with gusts to 60 plus MPH that have raised havoc! This country ain't reputed for its "gentle climate", but the old timers say this winter has been the worst (for winds) in 15 years! I follow weather patterns on several differant internet sites, reports have been very strange from all parts of the country..has just been one, weird winter everywhere it seems.

It's weird here too. The hedge is starting to bloom, it's two weeks early by normal standards. The plum tree is flowering, and the small hearts have started. I'll show some photos later. If the birch continues to sprout leaves in this tempo, they'll be fully out by May 17th.

Seeing as I just west of Capt, I get the same weather. I need to remember to bring my baby plants inside tonight (theyre all in pots) so they dont die o_O

The weather is odd here too. We had unseasonably high temperatures for 3 weeks. This week it is unseasonable low. I saw snow falling today!
Weeds n seeds - we had the windiest winter I ever remember!
