    I love to see dog roses when I'm out walking at this time of year. The Turk's cap is a flower that doesn't grow wild here that I know of. Those daisy-like flowers are a prety shade of lilac.

    We have a lot of wild roses growing up our way too all along the roadside, along with the blue asters (at least I think that's what's in your photo). Do you have sandy soil there? We do, and they seem to do great.
