Had rabbit last year do same. It bloomed. Then cat and dog begone. Good for other animals. Liquid fence is good also-cost more.
Missing parts or whole leaves won't affect the blooms. They do take a while to finally grow from bud to bloom, but that's just the nature of the plant. The leaves really do their thing after the blooms have dropped off, as the plant is going dormant. They need to be left on until they turn yellow and fall over so they can soak up sunlight energy to store in the bulbs to provide growth next year.
Ive never had a problem with bunnies eating my lilies til now! Something ate the entire top off most of mine! Looks like I wont be getting any blooms this year :'(
