The wind never seems to quit blowing. I took this just before sunset tonight with thesnow blowing across the back yard towards the house.

That is a cool picture Polly. How deep is the snow there?

That would take a lot of getting accustomed to. I didn't like the wind here today because it made it chilly and I don't like cold.

A great piccie Polly but I hope the wind doesn't blow the snow into drifts against the house.

Ah, Polly, you bring back memories of home. I got an email from my mother yesterday wanting me to visit and see their new house. Michigan is warm if you get there on the right day in August, but then there are blackflies.

I'm cold just looking at that picture. Hope a little spring comes your way soon.

We seem to get the same weather systems Polly. The wind has been blowing here constantly for what seems like weeks. Today they are calling for gusts up to 90 km per hour and with the blowing snow I can barely see the garage! I can't take much more of winter. The snow is so deep here this year it's almost impossible for me to get out to my garden shed to get some flower pots.

Spring isn't on it's way yet. Supposed to be a low of 0 to -5 tonight and the wind keeps blowing. This drift is about 3 feet high and goes the full length of our house (40'). What is kind of funny though is that it never gets closer to the house than 10-12 feet. I walked out through the path to the burning barrel yesterday afternoon. There was no longer a path - it had filled in with about a foot of snow.
