I can press the Windows-Key ( the one with the flags on ) and my start menu pops up. the last thing i can do is pushing Windows-key+L ( as many know this is a short cut for changing users) and when im at the screen were I can change users everything´s normal, but if im entering my password and log in again the screen is still Feezed. To get "rid" of this i have to Restart my computer, but within a few minutes it Freezes again. This is very annoying and i really need help with it, i´ve never seen anything like this before. I´ve tried to Format/Re-install Windows, but it still freezes Sorry if my english is bad, im 16 years and im from Norway All help will be Appriciated!@
I would go to: Help and Support on your computer and then clcik on 'Restore to a previous date' to see if that unjams it! Good Luck.
Hi XP4ever, this sounds like a very annoying problem, let's see if we can help you fix it. Can you go to Start -> Run, type "taskmgr" and hit enter. This should bring up the Task Manager. On the Applications tab within Task Manager are any of the applications listed as "Not Responding"?
how did the problem arise in the first place. did u do a recent install of windows? and importantly is the copy of windows genuine?
Okay, first thing is clean house. Open the control panel, click on network and internet connections. Then click on internet options. Under browsing history click delete. Once that is done go back ot the control panel. Click on free up space on your hard drive. Select C; drive or which ever is the main drive and then click ok. Make sure the following are checked: Downloaded program files Temporary internet files Temporary files Next, go to the internet and find Super anti spyware fred download and download it. Once downloaded, install it and run it. Next, Next, run your virus, spyware software and do a complete scan, not a quick scan. Let it Fix all the problems it says to fix. Next go to Malewarebytes anti spyware program free online. Download and run it. Let it fix all the stuff again. If you can find one, download a performance a program that will check and fix your computer registry erors. finallyfast.com is supposed ot be a good one. I have PC pitstop. Run it and let it fix what it finds. Finally, run a defrag on your computer. After all this is done, make sure to shut of your computer, turn of the internet conneciton if youhave DSL or other so it can also reset and let it sit for 3 minutes or so. Turn it back on doing it in whatever order you need to. If there was aotn of registry errors, lots of spyware and other junk this will clean it all out. If it runs better after that then problem fixed and oyuneed to do the same thing a couple times a month to keep it running fast and clean. If not, it is likely a RAM problem or other memory problem a and it is out of my league as what to do to fix it. More memory or check the memory to make sure it is working is all I can recommend. There is a free program to check your memory too but not sure what it is called.
OK. First things first.. do you have any blue screens that are popping up? If so, what are the error codes? IE: 0x000000F9 .. etc.
OMG all of you are confusing this person beyond belief...sounds to me like a bad trojan virus, and if you have any tech support and do not know how to deal with your problem, then contact them, right away, do not do all that is advised here, you will really mess up your PC..
