Winter birds arriving.

    The ducks that come here to spend the winter have started to arrive. These pintails are some of the first.

    So sad 7500 migrating song birds were killed when they flew into the flare off at the LNG plant. We are going to be missing a lot of beautiful birds.

    Hi Chrisle,..that's very sad to hear,..it always bothers me when i find birds dead from flying into something man made,..our town bridge has electric cable approx 15 ft over the bridge,..swans are always flying into these wires with fatal results.
