Winter or spring?

    Well it looks as though winter hasn't finished with us yet here in Scotland. Thankfully by the time I took these photographs most of the snow had actually melted.

    A chilly reminder of how fickle spring can be. While I have not put away my snow shovel(May 7th), I am looking toward the first spring pilgrimage to the garden center with my long list of items to buy.

    Hi Eileen,
    hard to believe,..we were having a heatwave here last week and presumed you would be in the same boat as parts of England were getting temperatures up in the 80F area while we were up to 92F,..melting temperatures,..lets hope that cold artic breeze dies down,..i see you have nice Forsythia in bloom.

    Your garden looks lovely in snow. The blooms really show off against the white. Can't wait to see it all acolor ;)

    It's pretty, Eileen...but it makes me cold to see it.
    We are forcast some of the same over here.

    I hope that it is all gone from there now. Our temps are below 0° during the nights.
