Well... almost the last step (but will be the last photo I'll bore you with). Just in case you've miss this little adventure of mine... here's the previous posting. http://www.gardenstew.com/about31211.html Yesterday, I secured the tarp into place, except for the ends to allow ventilation since it was still pretty warm. Winterhouse almost all snugged up ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) But with the cold front blowing through tonight with the threat of frost, the ends have been closed and will remain so for a couple of days. And it took me only a few seconds to close each end. And yes... it was drizzly, windy, cold and almost dark. I'd have been out there fighting with a tarp for awhile... especially if I was home alone. So far... I'm happy with it. But the real test will be if the plants are happy in the morning... or not.
Sjoerd... all looks well... no frost damage to any plants inside or out of the winterhouse. Guess the real test will be when we get a heavy frost/freeze. We were only at or near the freezing mark for just a few hours.
