We had another 5 inches of snow overnight, and I had to get out my camera and shoot a few. Here are some pictures of my potting shed, its entry and the inside. We keep it heated to 45 degrees F (not much above freezing), and geraniums and other tough annuals overwinter well inside. My husband made the benches out of pine and covered them with wire mesh. The floor is dry-laid brick so the water just seeps through (no need for a drain). It's a great place to "putz" in the dirt when it's snowing outside!

And here's a picture of one of our resident chickadees eating at the gourd feeder I made. I fill them everyday with sunflower hearts, and the chicks almost land on me when I'm filling the feeders!

What a great space Kaseylib! I would love to have that space to "putter in" during the winter.
Great job on that gourd feeder too! :)

You just froze me the death Kasey with those gorgeous pictures.I like all your plants and the potting shed.
I have some of those gourds and I'm going to try to grow some again this year.I want to paint them all colors and cut holes in them then hang them in my cedar tree.

    Ditto

All I see is my PC telling me that it is downloading something from photobucket, but then it gets stuck.

Kasey, if you could make them a tad smaller. Usually no wider than 500 pixels is best for everyone to be able to get them to show up.

I'm so jealous. Wish I had a potting shed/green house. And the winter wonderland is beautiful. Thanks for sharing :stew2:

Lovely photos, kaseylib. You're lucky to have such a nice place to work and overwinter plants. I wouldn't call it a shed though, far too nice for a shed.

Thanks for the comments. I really enjoy the space, especially after a long work day. I've also got a treadmill inside the shed, and try to use it several times a week...but it's easier to tend to the plants instead of me sometimes!

Cool ideas there in the flower shop space.
Tread mill is fun for about 10 minutes, I get bored staring into space on those or a bike. Even jogging..
Gardening is the most fun.

    Lovely space there and photos..
