She was one day old in that video. Today she is two days old Her mother had two: a bigger one and this smaller one. She didn't take to the smaller one so we had to take her in. Our lambing season is normally January / February. She is walking around by my feet as I type
That is too cute for words! Are you bottle feeding her? Where is her little bed? Is it too late for us to start knitting booties? Keep us posted on her progress. Can we name her?
All baby animals are adorable but lambs somehow come out top of the list don't they? She certainly taken to the bottle well and I'm sure will go on to thrive and produce many lambs of her own in the future.
Update: one of our sheep gave birth this morning but unfortunately the lamb was dead. So we have brought our woolly visitor to this sheep to see if she 'adopts' our woolly one
Oh, I hope the adoption goes well. I guess raising a lamb indoors really isn't a good thing, probably can't litter train them or teach them to scratch at the back door when they need to go out.
