Is it ever warm! I has gotten up to 66 degrees today. Broke an an old record that stood for 101 years. I was 64 degrees on this day in 1907. I celebrated by taking down the outside Christmas decorations and getting them put away. I also walked around the yard a little bit too. It was so nice that it made you want to get down in the dirt and grow something. But we still have a lot of cold and snow before that happens.

So pleased that your weather has taken a turn for the better CK. It may not last but at least you managed to get quite a bit done while it did. We're still getting snow and severe frosts here so it's nice to know the warm weather is around somewhere. :-D

It was very warm here today too Capt - 10°C - but very foggy all day and a bit of rain. I did manage to get outside and enjoy the milder temperatures a little.
I can't help but think that when winter returns, it will be with a vengeance!

We had 69 degree weather here and it was nice until about 4. We have had severe thunderstorms with small hail and winds since then. Our little dog wanders around hunting a place to hide.Wannabe

It's to be in the mid 60's again today but with storms coming in this evening. But by the weekend, it's back to snow and cold!

I feel ya. It was 70 here this weekend and we stayed out in it as much as possible. Makes the winter seem shorter with these little breaks. :)

We had around 50 degr F. yesterday (Monday). Boy did we get thunderstorms.
We were in a store at the time and all the lights dimmed and came back on. And the rain-it just poured down on/off all day long, just like it was springtime. But within the next day or two we'll be dropping right back down to the 20's with more snow on the way. This is what I call crazy weather.

It was warm here too, got up to 38 F, the snow is melting and leaving slop on the roads. Then at night it freezes, and the roads are ice in the morning. Three days of fog, some times heavy, about a quarter mile visibility. Can't wait for the cold to return, and some fresh snow to make it white and clean again. The Humidity has been high with the fog, 100% or so, and that makes it seem colder than the single digits. I have been shivering more with the 30's and humidity, than with the 0 F and low humidity. We are fortunate to usually have low humidity. The snowmobile trails are down to mud.

Hello Capt Kirk....what part of Ohio are you from? I grew up outside of Toledo in Perrysburg.
Now in Texas, I miss those beautiful fall color changes, but I have to say, I couldn't stand that last winter I lived there in 1983....wind chill 60 below!!

Nice weather for you this time of year though! Enjoy!
