A short while ago my daughter, who works at a BUPA Care Home, asked me if I could knit a few squares and rectangles for BUPA who were attempting to make a large tea cosy. Neither of us know quite what this was in aid of except that may be they wanted to get into the Guinness Book of Records. Thought you might like to see a photo of the completed cosy, which sure is large :D

Isn't it fun to have contributed? It looks great. I hope they'll win the record.

Wow that is massive - like Eileen says it is big enough to live in. :) Certainly worth a record.

How many people contributed - knitting that is?
How long did the process take?

Not sure how many people Palm Tree but must have been quite a few I should think. If it is to get into the Records Book it will be next year's edition so I will look out for it. I was asked a few weeks before the deadline so probably about 6/8 weeks.

That's fantastic! Would take a lot of tea leaves to brew in that pot!
