20 MPH winds with gusts up to 30 mph. Not many leaves left on the trees. The wind is out of the south, so most of the leaves are blowing into the field behind me. The trees are going to be nekid by the time it's done blowing!
At least they are not 90 mph winds like we sometimes get with storms around here. And they blew the leaves away from your yard. Didn't you want any of them for compost and mulching though ?
Storm moved through sometime after midnight last night. We were sitting in the ER with my Mom so missed all of the good stuff. Winds 30-40 mph, my yard got almost an inch of rain...a lot less than many places got. And this morning we found our TV antenna and the 20 foot pole it is mounted on laying over being held up only by the guy-wires for Randy's HAM radio antenna. Trees on the other hand are still flush with green leaves as we have not had any cool temperatures to begin the color turning and leaf falling process.
