With the time difference, it's still 6:50 am here on the east coast of the states. Hope everyone has a great Christmas!

9:08 in New Orleans. Ursula has been out and has had breakfast. She also felt the overwhelming need to go outside and have a magnificent run this morning at 2:18. Somehow I get night duty.
We are ready for the boy, his wife and their munchkin later today.

Wow what a day its been - we've reached the "time to eat something healthy for dinner because we've been eating junk all day" phase, all presents are being most thoroughly played with. Hope it's been a wonderful one for all of you!

We've had a busy, but fun couple of days.
Friends came for Christmas dinner, :-D it was a real pleasure, very low key.
That's about all I'm up to any more, entertainment-wise. ;)

    YAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is over, decorations come down today. Now I can start my annual "things I will do differently next year" list.....the one that I make then promptly lose and come next December don't remember what I wrote on it until I am in the middle of the mad rush and think, I have got to remember not to do this again next year.

Our decorations stay up until after New Year and by then I am mad keen to take them down and get my house back to normal. I always sneeze when I pack them away as dust flies everywhere!!

Mine will probably stay up until New Years too. Too many other things to do this week and we still have a Christmas dinner with my husbands family on Saturday (2 hours away) and friends coming on New Years Eve and an all night lockin for the youth at church on New Years Eve. I will go to it after our friends go home.

I take ours down gradually, a little each day to 'fade out' the holiday, or it seems too jarring to me. The lights go last, I love them.
