I am very excited to report we may have a great hot weather summer crop now. This is our first picking of yard long beans and they seem to be doing very good so far. http://cappyandpegody.blogspot.com/2015/07/our-yard-long-beansseriously.html
Looks like a really good crop already cappy. I hope the weather obliges and let's you go on picking those beans for a long time to come.
We can only grow those at the hottest end of the poly tunnel, but they are worth the effort. Nice tasting beans.
When I saw the pictures of those beans, the first thing that popped in my mind was 'Jack and the Bean stalk'! They do look like they would be easier to pick than the regular beans since they hang right out where you can see them and it looks like you are going to have a great harvest too.
Thanks Hank I have a big black iron pot out and am in the process of smothering getting started, smothering them down. Thanks for reminding me to get out the camera
