    Well... since we Americans won't get to take a vacation day in honor of your birthday tomorrow....
    I have petitioned the government and asked if they would let us celebrate it on Monday, July 4th instead.
    They said "YES!"

    I wish we had that holiday.
    I dread the days when co-workers come to work with treats and cake.
    And then... we have to collect money in an envelope as "present".
    I got better plans for my money!
    And they never tell us in advance... so they show up after I've just had my breakfast... (which I take at work).
    And they all hate that on my BD, I always take a day off (from my holiday days). I don't have a car and bringing stuff for all colleagues require at least 4-6 hands.
    SO NO!
    and they say....come on calin. you are so stingy!
    And I go... "where's your logic. If I decide to do what everyone does, I actually MAKE MONEY (the "present")."
    Anyway... long story. But now they get it. No cake on Calin's BD.
    I have my cake with family!
