Physicals. Necessary evils. Went yesterday morning to begin the onerous task of getting fully checked out. I had blood drawn, peed in a cup, and various parts poked, prodded, listened to, palpated and examined. I have to go back next week for a chest Xray and EKG. I will also need to make an appointment to see my eye doctor for a new contact and glasses prescription, and also to check out an itty bitty growth on my lower lid. My doctor says it's just a cyst, but I'd really like to have it removed because it's annoying. Also next week, at a different office, I'll get all my girl parts checked out and various labs done for that. I'm waiting on a call to schedule my colonoscopy (ugh ugh ugh!!!) Humans have altogether too many parts, dammit!
I've just undergone a colonoscopy and don't want to ever repeat it. Not the most pleasurable experience I've ever gone through that's for sure. I hope all the tests you've had taken and are about to have prove normal. MOTing a car is so much easier!!
you two need to have a colonoscopy every year just so you won't have to to through I have this past 3 months. Do just smile and get it done!!
Customer has to have colon checked every 6 months. Said going to get good book and new toilet seat. I'm due next year. Dh is due both acid reflux and colon.
Waiting on the results of my ob/gyn visit. Everything looked fine, she actually said I was in really good shape for someone who's 60 and has had 5 kids, so that made me feel good. :-D Waiting on the results of the pap smear, and I go for my mammogram Thursday. Still have to get that colonoscopy scheduled. :'( I also need to go to the eye doctor and get a new prescription for glasses and contacts. Also have a small cyst on my lower left lid that I need him to look at, and likely remove. At least with the Ophtamologist, he's a friend. Rowland and I were a dance partnership for some time, and briefly a romantic one, until we realized we made better friends and dance partners. We still dance together from time to time, so going to see him will feel like a social visit rather than a medical one.
