I am going to make your mouths water! I did a pork roast for dinner tonight. 6 hrs. in a slow cooker simmering in it's own juices. We had that and mashed potatoes and fresh corn. The meat was so tender it fell apart and melted it your mouth.

I'll make them water even more. We had a lamb joint roasted in its own juices (really meltingly tender too) with roast potatoes, green beans, carrots and peas. :D :D

Even more - beef roast in the slow cooker with potatoes, carrots, onions and I'm not sure what myhusband put in for seasonings but it made great leftovers.

That all sounds great. I'm having a pork roast with potatoes and carrots. Tonight I just had a bacon and tomato sandwich on toast. Wannabe

Oh yumsky diddly dumsky! Makes my low fat quiche seem extremely boring! Mind you, I am taking the kids to the local farm today as the sun is out, and they have the best free range pork, so maybe...just maybe....
