Yep! That's why I went out to clean the back garden. I clean around the rose bushes and raked dead grass and dug out clumps and got about half done. Then this zero percent chance of rain started dropping from the sky and Chance and I had to quit and come in the house. It's not a hard rain but I didn't want to be soggy. I may not have to water the fall garden though.
I have peas, mustard spinach, radishes, cucumbers, fennel, swiss chard, kale, spinach, carrots and lettuce coming up right now.
I couldn't figure out why some kale was coming up fast and thick and some slow and sparse. Then, I remembered some seed was from an older pak and some from a new pak. The older seeds are taking longer. I might go out with the newer seeds and interplant them. Is interplant a word? It is now. lol.

Yes Dooley, I don't know who was more surprised, me or the weatherman to see a drizzle this morning! I was in the process of burning off some limbs that came down with the last big wind, and I was standing in a gentle rain, watching the fire so it wouldn't get out of hand. Felt like a fool!

Careful you don't get hit with those zero's when they fall oughtta the sky, LOL. I wish I had a job like a weatherman, if you mess up totally you can just say "oh well" and go on as if nothing's happened.

Same thing here yesterday. "Slight chance of rain"... and the entire area received rain all afternoon and into the night.

Now I, on the other hand, was in a true ZERO chance of rain area and that prophecy was fulfilled. I watched on the weather radar as all that gorgeous rain traveled from west to east across you all...way too far south to do me any good. I take that back, it did put a heavy layer of clouds over us so the sun didn't make an appearance until just before sundown.

We only ended up with 1/2 an inch but I didn't have to water the fall garden.
