I didn't kill my tulips!Hello Everyone! I am new here so I will just kind of explain about my tulips. I got them as a birthday present and I planted them and prayed that they would bloom in the spring. Well, I pretty much kill anything I try to grow, so I was really suprised to see my tulips survived! My cousin is a member here, her screenname is jubabe296 and she told me about this website. So I thought I would post a few pictures of my yard, some lilacs and my son with my tulips. I will hopefully be posting some pictures of some roses I "inherited" with the house my husband and I bought in 2002. So far they are still blooming every spring and I can't wait to see what they do this year! Take care! This blog entry has been viewed 827 times

Hiya Heather, a BIG welcome to GardenStew and what a first impression you have made on us, tons of tulip photos! They look great and well cared for. I think you underestimated yourself.
The tulips look pretty good. Your little boy looks good, too. Anyone can tell you I really like kids. Dooley
Hey Heather I'm glad to see you got your photos figured out! I love your tulips, you know yellow tulips are my favorite but all tulips are great to me!! Trey looks so cute checking out all the tulips!! I look forward to seeing more photos and reading your blog!!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I love my cousin Julie to death!! I sure do miss her and my mom a lot! Those two are the gardening pros! My mom will be on here as soon as I can mail her her computer.I can't wait to put more pictures on as my "babies" start blooming more. Dooley, thank you for the comment on my son. He is such a blessing to us! Julie is actually the ONLY person that has babysat him, other than his grandparents. :)
