It is tulip time again here. I took this first pic from one of my old postings on here back in 2017. It is a great time for taking long drives through the countryside to look at blooming tulips before they are decapitated. The TulipTrippers are happy, but the farmers not so much because the careless Trippers stop and wander out into the fields to take selfies and so forth, trampling flowers in the process. It is irritating to the farmers which inspired this cartoon in one of the papers here:

    Very beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Shouldn't be much longer until my city too starts to explode with colors of summer, (mostly yellow and red).

    Colorful indeed!

This was a couple of years ago, in the Willamette Valley in Oregon.

There are tulip farms in Washington State too. Also in Oregon, a bearded irise farm, dahlia farm, and a nice lilac garden in Washington State. These places welcome tourists, and take orders for bulbs then too. I wonder if the Tulip Festival brings in more money than the tulips.

Photo was a couple of years ago. It's probably not nearly as vast as the industry in the Netherlands.

Those are such nice piccies, Daniel. It may not be as big an industry as here, but it is still a joy to see and of a remarkable size. Very lovely.

I can see a lot was going on at that upper festival shot. Heartwarming to see that Rufus went along for the ride.
