Time for an update!Robbie and I have been soooo busy working in the yard. It's funny to see Robbie so involved in the yard! Use to be when I did everything except for mowing the grass! Needless to say I'm excited for all the help and input. Well we have gotten alot more accomplished since I've blogged last. We have purchased alot of new plants. I thought I had them uploaded but I guess I need to take more photos of the newest arrivals. We purchased a corkscrew vine, clematis and passion vine, we also purchased a few birds of paradise and a bottle brush bush. The local car dealership in town has lots of bottle brush plants lined up in front of their business and everyone in town has been on the lookout for them! I finally found one!! I'm so excited, photos on the way!! Jubabe and I have been able to spend alot of time together now that I'm not working! We have sooo much we want to do together now that I'm a woman of leisure!! We have gone plant shopping several times and Saturday we spent the entire day together! It was so great, we both had a blast. First we attended David and Rachel's homewarming/wedding shower. Our baby sister Tina was also there. Then we went to Bryan/College Station shopping. Of course we checked out plants!!:) I purchased an Orchid for Robbie, he has been wanting one and I found them for $12.88! All the others we have looked at cost at least $20.00 to $25.00!! I will have to get a photo of it also. We also shopped for scrapbooking supplies! Jubabe is soooo into scrapbooking. She has been scrapbooking more this year than gardening so she has been pretty quite here lately. She helped me pick out supplies so I can start scrapbooking with her. Kelsey has been wanting to scrapbook with her Aunt Julie too so she found a really cute scrapbook for herself and has ready completed 2 pages!! Well I guess I will post a few photos so I can get back in the yard!!:) This is a photo of my yellow sedum and airplane plants. They are in my flower garden in my back yard. We are planning to build a gazebo back there and plant tropical flower gardens all around it! It will be a beautiful place to relax! ![]() This is one of my containers on the deck in our backyard.
