My Mom had found me a box of the old fashion lead and tin tinsel we use to hang on our Christmas trees when I was a kid.
I hate the new tinsel as it sticks to everything because of the static electricity it seems to produce. Well this year I decided to use the one box my Mom had found me. Wow it really made the tree sparkle and come to life. I will post pic's as soon as I get around to it.
But then I found this website where you can order new tinsel made from tin and lead from Germany. The website is; johnwsheetz.com I am going to order several more boxes for my Christmas tree next year. They also have some great wooden toys, puzzles, and games that you would not find in to many stores.
I was so thrilled with my find I just had to share it.

i remember that kind of tinsel! when i was a kid, we never decorated our tree until christmas eve. my mom would finish it after we went to bed, and when we woke up and went downstairs, there was the tree in all it's glory....mom put the tinsel on strand by strand, and it was the most beautiful thing i ever saw!
