I keep checking on my Garden

Category: Vegetable, Herbs, Grapes and other Fruit. | Posted: Sat Oct 08, 2011 2:12 pm

I visit and revisit it a dozen times a day, and stand in deep contemplation over my vegetable garden with a love that nobody could share or conceive of who had never taken part in the process of creation. It was one of the most bewitching sights in the world to observe a hill of beans thrusting aside the soil, or a rose of early peas just peeping forth sufficiently to trace a line of delicate green.

You are a garden addict Rick. That's ok!

Rick, I can so relate. My tours of the garden occur at the start and end of the day during the active growing season. It is so much fun to see what has popped up or bloomed or whatever. Simple pleasures in life.

WEIRDO!!! (just kidding--I'm his wife; I'm allowed to say that.) But the salad greens are very tasty on the turkey wrap I just made for myself. ;-)
