TIME. how old is your bed? the harvest begins 3 yrs after planting for 1 yr old crowns, 2nd year for 2 year old crowns. then only pick the ones that are pencil sized and bigger. leave anything smaller to grow.
Next Spring will be the third year they have been in the ground.
Add compost around the crowns and keep them weeded if you can. Still only pick the larger ones as they emerge. You will get bigger ones eventually. Login or register to leave a comment. |
