New Garden...Success or disaster?

So I'm starting a new garden in my backyard and since I've never had a real garden before, this is a brand new experience for me. First of all it's not just me working on the garden, my boyfriend is helping me with it. It's going to be a vegetable and flower garden. We bought a few packs of seeds and once it gets warmer we're going to buy some plants from Home Depot or something. The seeds we bought are onions, radishes, carrots, chives, hummingbird mix, sweet peas, sunflowers, and cat grass. We're not entirely sure how large the garden is going to be. Right now we laid out an area thats about 18 square feet and in an 'L' shape but we're thinking of making into an 'n' shape. That's all for now though. Later!

Hi again Coupon. Glad to see you have started your blog. It is a good way to keep track of what you did and when for future referrence.

Sounds like you have a good plan for the garden. You will find that no matter how large you think the garden will be, it will always grow larger simply because you will keep finding plants that you just have to have.

Also, blogging is addictive.
