I consider myself to be a fairly avid gardener, and I always seem to have great success with my vegetable garden. However, no matter how hard I try, my efforts to grow beautiful flowers seem to come up short.

My flower beds don't look terrible, but they could certainly be improved upon. My vegetable garden, on the other hand, is the envy of my neighborhood.

I was wondering if anybody else has this same problem, or some insights as to what I could do better.

It could be the flowers you're growing. My grandmother gave me a snowball flower that bloomed once a few years ago and has never bloomed again.
