Many people consider these a weed, but not I. A few summers ago I planted a number of them along the front fence of our yard. The result was traffic slowing down to look at them, especially in the evening hours plastered with blooms.
Last year I dug them up and decided to move them. The roots of Datura are huge!
Oh, forgot to mention. Just a tiddly bit of trivia for you. The Datura (what you have) is actually a Devil's Trumpet. Brugmansia are Angel's Trumpet. An easy way to remember this is a little quote that goes something like this:
Brugmansia plants are known as "Angel's Trumpets" because the flowers look down as if angels would look down from heaven, whereas the Datura features blooms which face upward. Often called the "Devil's Trumpets" as if they were Devils down below looking up toward heaven.
