It Snowed...Again!

Category: Gardening,Butterflies, Birds | Posted: Wed Mar 03, 2010 3:26 pm

Well, just as the last snow was finally beginning to go away, my yard is completely covered in snow again. This time the paper said we got at least 8 inches. I can sure believe it, my little car had a rough time getting into the driveway last night.

I grew up in Georgia, and it hardly ever snows down there. This winter, I have had lots of practice at driving in the snow. It ain't so bad once you get used to it.

I still want spring to get here though, my new plants are growing too fast, and I am beginning to wonder if maybe I started them too soon.

Hard to believe someone not all that far from me is getting snow. I won't tell you what our temps are this week :)

As for your plants, transplant them into larger pots if you can't get them into the ground when they might be ready and they should be just fine until you can work outside.

I just might have to do that very thing, thanks for the suggestion Toni.

I had no idea that NC got so much snow...is it just a crazy year or do you usually get lots of snow????

Its March maybe it will go away soon?

It has been a very crazy year.

We usually only get one or two snows a year, if that.

It started this winter on Dec 18th with 8 inches and every week or so since then it has snowed again.

I sure hope it lets up soon, I am soooo ready for spring to be here!
