Last Year's Potting SoilThe best advice is to dump it in your garden or woods, only reuse if you are sure there are no disease problems left over from the previous season. You will need to fertilize more frequently the second year because many of the nutrients have been lost or used by the plants the previous season. Hi: Am sure that you change your soil each year - it is a very good habit to follow - can't imagine what would happen to your plants with those termites in the soil.
yeah i was re-potting some strawberries yesterday and there was a termite family living in the bottom.
