Lavender PlanterLavender and herbs make a wonderful planter combination. Be sure to place this pot or container near a window, or a seating area to take advantage of the wonderful scent that emanates from the lavender. Use a compact variety of lavender and surround with herbs such a thyme or oregano. This blog entry has been viewed 280 times

I'm interested in herb gardening, but I don't know what to do with them once I grow them...any suggestions?
A compact kitchen garden is a wonderful thing to have close at hand. Good tip, I never think about growing herbs in containers since we've got a herbs patch, but why not?
Hi - if you don't have a herb patch or your patch is not near the kitchen door - then planting your herbs in containers works wonderfully well. They are close to you for snipping and of course the smell is great.
Oh what a great idea! Thanks for sharing it.
My planter with lavender and violets is right by the backdoor. It is filling in nicely. Best of all it makes me smile when I leave and come home. Login or register to leave a comment. |
