Just a bit of fun. As I have travelled around I have taken photos of the mailboxes that I saw, not all of course,just the interesting ones. Then I put together a short story. Here we go just click Mailtown Hope it works. These include a few from the States, including Hawaii and BC to Prince Edward Island.

Some of those are beautiful, others amusing but the ones I like best are the ones that are true works of art. My husband, Ian, would have the beer barrel one for sure.
Maybe we should all have a specially designed mailbox outside our homes as they're so much nicer than just a plain old letterbox.
What would I go for ... mmmm .... possibly a Japanese pegoda!! I enjoyed seeing all the different types that people have and it's got me thinking seriously about having one here. Many thanks for posting these for us all Kildale.

Somehow I almost missed this! I'm glad I didn't. Very entertaining. I feel like I must upgrade my banged up box! I like the one with the folk art painted chicken on the top, and the one with the mama duck and the ducklings. Very fun entry, Kildale.
