Those white spots on mushrooms.Some mushrooms have white patches on them, they look rather neat, but why do they vary. Well, most of them like the amanita's, break though a veil when reaching the surface. As they break this, parts stick to it. These don't shrink but appear smaller as the mushroom gets bigger. More attach to some of the same species, thus making them appear different. I've often wondered about the white patches on various fungi and why they are there and how they came about. Now I know the answer so won't be puzzled anymore. Another thing you've taught me!!
I like this lesson, Kildale. I don't know much about mushrooms.
I haven't seen these colours in this part. beautiful. are they edible?
