This is the first pictures of the Red headed Crossbill this year. A male and female visited a few times yesterday and the female was back this morning. This is the male and you can see its crossed bill.

It looks as though the bird wanted you to get a clear shot of that bill of his the way he's holding his head. It's good to know the crossbills have come back again this year.
