Thanks for the messages about the Rufous, I guess it will just have to be, Mrs Rufous. Anyway, todays bird is another winter visitor, the Varied Thrush.

Do you know the call of the varied thrush? Does it sound like a steady, high pitched one note bell???? We've been trying to figure out a call we keep hearing in the AM (not so many now as they find partners, and nest).
