Had the chance to take some photos of a wood duck, it has to be one of the best looking ducks that there is. Its colours are amazing. I know some people see them often like I see the bald eagles and the herons, but then you know, sometimes they are not quite as common in other parts of the country. It is a big country too.

Your Wood Duck is similar to our Manderin Ducks although the colours are different. Very handsome birds that would certainly stand out in a crowd.

Amazing photo, one of nature's masterpieces. Wood Duck is a perfect name. He looks as if he was carved of wood & artistically painted.

That is a GREAT photo. It almost looks like it has been carved out of wood and painted.

I love seeing all the different ducks that live here and there. Here, we really only have mallards, except for the occasional cream colored duck, which my kids at school refer to as "light-skinned ducks." We looked that duck up in a book but I don't remember its name now.
