V1a screen

Category: Building a Compost Screen | Posted: Mon Jun 15, 2009 12:44 pm

I have a huge compost pile that has about 15 years worth of compost. Had a mini excavator in to put it in a pile as tree roots have grown in, making it difficult to turn by hand.
This is good stuff so I want to use it all over. Needs to be screened. So I'll make one ..

LOL .. 15 years is a educated guess .. The pile is/was 15 feet by 12 feet and about 4 feet high. The previous owners lived here for 20 years and took all garden waste and leaves from over 35 trees to this pile. The bottom 2 feet is pure gold!!!
