Hello,

My tomatos are not turning red. I have heard that I should starve them from water. Does this really work?

Tomatoes not ripening is common where I live. Cutting off the water will help. If they don't ripen before the first frost you can pull the vine and let them ripen in a frost free area (garage or basement) or you can pick them and eat them as they ripen.

It is helpful if you post questions in the forums. This would be a good one to put into the fruit and vegetable forum. :) Happy gardening.
