A bit of nostalgia, looking back.

Category: my Winter thoughts | Posted: Sun Jan 01, 2012 5:36 pm

Although Mother Natue is giving us some wonderfully mild weather, it is winter and the gardens lie dormant.
I was just taking a trip down memory lane with a viewing of my garden photos here at Garden Stew. Looking at the shots, I can remember the days I was out there, enjoying and feeling proud. *sigh*
Do any of you do this?
I can't wait to get out there again, and considering how fast time seems to fly by, it'll be before we know it!

Kay, you make a good point! Hard as it is to believe (on January 1st), summer indeed will be here before we realize it. I tend to discourage myself from thinking that way because I know we have multiple snow storms still to get through. I haven't even let myself start looking at plant & seed catalogs...(well not much anyway). But yes you are right. Time passes quickly and spring will be here anon. What is your guess about how many snow storms we will have this year? I live in New England, you are in Nebraska, so undoubtedly it will be a different count. But still, I wonder how many. 10?

Hiyah Kay,

I always look back at old pics and stories. I really am anxious to get back to doing garden work. I am going to have my hands full this year.
I shall also look forward to more of your posts. ;-)
