The CourtyardHi There from Central California. It has been a warm wet winter. My favorite kind. Hardly had to cover anything this year. January 30 seemed unseasonably warm. I spent a few hours weeding and cleaning up the courtyard in the front. Mostly just getting the weeds out of the cracks of the flagstone and trying to organize the garden ornaments. I got a great vine trellis thingy for Christmas. Can't wait to go out and put throw some poppy seeds out. Maybe some vetch I collected from the side of the road, and nasturtium too. The pansies are blooming bright like I knew they would, the helleboro are beginning to bloom this year, very exciting, and the camilla is adding in it's bright pink opinion. The geraniums are almost ready to bloom, always makes my day. Can't wait for spring, it's almost here. This blog entry has been viewed 171 times

Your weather sounds lovely. It is very cold and we are buried in snow right now. I can't wait for spring so I can get started!
Congrats on your new blog :)
Sounds like spring has sprung in your yard. How about posting some photos of those beauties in the Members Gallery, the snowbound members would really like to see the color.
Send some of that good weather over here to Scotland - we sure could do with some!! Login or register to leave a comment. |
