Found a rock gardenSide yard ( photo / image / picture from LilyJunkie's Garden ) There was snow on the ground when we moved in and while walking around and taking the dogs out I noticed some large rocks around the walnut tree in the photo above so I commented to Steve that since the rocks were already there it would make a nice place for a rock garden. Well much to my delight as the snow melted I began to see little bulbs poking thru the dirt and I realized someone before me had the same idea. They began blooming this week and have been id'd as Star of Bethlehem. Rock Garden -Star of Bethlehem ( photo / image / picture from LilyJunkie's Garden ) So this weekend I am working on pulling out the Nettles and Poison Ivy so we can get this looking nice. Not too sure at this point what will go in there but when I do there will be pics I'm sure ;) Last edited: Sat May 01, 2010 7:07 pm This blog entry has been viewed 568 times
