Leopard Moth:Eggs day 2
Category: Leopard Moth from egg to pupa to moth | Posted: Fri Mar 22, 2013 6:57 pm 3/22/13 Day 2 of the eggs. She's still there and has been there since yesterday around 7 A.M I suppose she's still laying eggs. Must be very tiring for her. It's sad to know that she won't live much longer after she's finished :( She's laying well over 100 eggs, I hope alot of them make it! I'll make sure they make it! :) I'm going to keep the ones that live when they hatch, my grandma has one of those pop up butterfly carriers. I found out they eat many common things around here, like lettuce, honeysuckle, bananas, and dandelion. They should be easy to take care of. It will be very very cool to watch them grow. I may have them a few months. I'm glad she decided to lay her eggs at my home! Anywhere else and they wouldn't of made it. God's creations are beautiful, aren't they! Here she is, still working.
